Chris Simpson

Chris has  been a Further Education lecturer for nearly 20 years and has been involved within the S&C profession for roughly 12 years. He has been fortunate to have worked across the spectrum of athletic performance levels from grass roots performers up to individuals that have competed and medalled at Commonwealth games, European and World championships and the Olympic Games.

The focus throughout his role as an Strength and Conditioning  coach is developing a strong and close coach-athlete relationship, whilst equally building a strong, robust and powerful athlete. The environment along with understanding the athlete’s needs and sporting requirements plays an instrumental role in the long-term development of the athlete regardless of their current performance level. There are several key aspects that I hold as priorities for creating an environment that athletes enjoy coming to and engage in.
