Karly Robertson is a British figure skater representing GB internationally around the world. She is member of the GB performance squad. Karly began skating at the age of 12 after an ice rink opened in her hometown Dundee. Her early successes include winning the British Junior Nationals 2006/2007. She represented GB at the European Championships 2009 in Helsinki and in the same year she competed at the Junior World Championships in Sofia. In 2010 she again represented GB at the European Championships, this time in Turin. After seven consecutive silver medals, she won the British national title in the 2014/2015 season enabling her to represent GB at the 2015 European Championships in Sweden. Since then she has won her first international competition at the Reykjavik International Games 2017. She has also medalled at other international events, taking home the bronze medal from 10th Skate Helena in Serbia 2017. Recently she managed to claim silver at the 37th Volvo Open Cup in Latvia 2018. Karly has been the first British Lady to land a triple-triple combination in competition. She has competed in many challenger series events in her career, placing in the top ten. At the challenger series Alpen Trophy in Austria 2018 she has scored a personal best of 156.93 points. With two great performances at the Challenge Cup 2019 Karly has scored another personal best of 162.10.
